Here is draft documentation for the new Tree and its family of widgets. This includes the tree, node, and controller. It does not try to cover support for drag-and-drop or context menus.

I hope this will help understanding of these widgets. I hope it will also contribute to understanding of the design of complex widgets like these.

This covers the released version as of 2006/02/23, which is newer than Dojo 0.2.2. Ilia has unreleased enhancements under development.
