Suggested: Use charting package to show downloads over time.

  • 0.4.1 Status
Congrutulations, pretty solid Release Candidate
wild_bill and liucougar in particular have been doing an *amazing* job

For a full release:
  1.   Docs - See http://trac.dojotoolkit.org/report/15
  2.   jamestag wants to add one build system change: avoiding 404s for i18n bundles.
  3.   A few real bugs to fix.
Not worried about the current bug list so much as new bugs everyday, and the unprocessed bugs.

ETA for RC2: Sometime after the weekend.
  • Server Move
Jot summary:
As some of you are aware, Jot is kicking us out =)
They've donated hardware and bandwidth for a long time now in addition to funding significant work on the toolkit itself.
... but they got acquired ... so ...
We need to take the hardware they've donated and move preferably with as little downtime as possible.
AOL, IBM, and Sun are all looking to see how they can help

What we need from server:

website, email, svn, trac, docs, source for downloading, etc.
It's a pretty important little box =)
Future considerations:
How should we diversify?
Right now we've got a pretty complex setup for a single system
Moving it out to multiple systems is gonna require some real engineering time
If we decide to host more projects, it's only going to become more of a bottleneck.
Conclusion:
In the end Alex and Dylan will work out this out.
  • New web site:
Decide to sechedule a seperate meeting for this next week.

Proposed Look & Feel for new website: http://redesign.dojotoolkit.org
  • Porting Guide:
Please update http://dojo.jot.com/WikiHome/Dojo0.4PortingGuide w/notes about changes from 0.3 to 0.4.
  • Dojo Book:
Carla's is making tremendous progress, but she needs help (the organization of the book is now pretty awesome)

Carla is also putting in trac tickets for the outstanding pages.
